Wildly fanciful

"Highly unrealistic; wildly fanciful."

As Joseph and I drive up the New Jersey Turnpike, closer and closer to NYC, it's become obvious just how ridiculous we are. Our expectations are insanely high, but I don't think we could have it any other way.

Last night when we pulled into Raleigh we discovered a place that will become a new tradition for the two of us for years to come. This gorgeous bed and breakfast, the Cameron Park Inn, was perfection. We stayed in the 3rd floor Lily suite, complete with two window seats, an iron claw footed tub, and every luxury imaginable. Best part? It was 100% Eco-friendly. Solar power and recycled water were just a few of the notable amenities. The proprietor, Nikki, made us breakfast (she will accommodate for any food restrictions!) that was to die for. Artichoke and feta soufflé, turkey sausage, fresh fruit and classic Southern homemade biscuits.

Needless to say, we will be back, at least once a year. I feel like we are going from one chimeric place to another. A southern dream and now the city of dreams. So so soon!
